Paper Phenolic - Grade XP Punching Grade
NP611 (NEMA XP) is a hot-punching, paper based phenolic grade. With mechanical properties approaching those of NP610, NP611 also offers improved electrical and punching characteristics. NP611 is a warm to hot punching grade, used for switch parts and other applications that need good moisture resistance, such as switch bases, terminal boards, insulating washers, and other intricate punched parts.
- NP611 complies with the requirements of MIL-I-24768/19, Type PBM-P.

NP313 MD-Phenolic
NP313 from Norplex is composed of cotton fabric combined with a phenolic resin system that has been enhanced with a molybdenum disulfide powder to reduce wear. NP313 is easy to machine and operates with less noise than metal. In addition, this material is not as abrasive as fiberglass alternatives when used in wear applications. Applications include a variety of parts subject to wear and yet, NP313 maintains most of its electrical insulation properties. NP313 has better wear properties than NP310 and is used where additional lubrication is very low or non-existent.

ProLam® X - Paper Phenolic
ProLam® X - Paper Phenolic Sheets, Rods and Tubes from Professional Plastics are manufactured from high strength paper bonded with a phenolic resin. The resulting material is a tough laminate with a high impact resistance, excellent tensile, compressive and flexural strengths. ProLam® X Grade has the highest mechanical strength of the paper-based phenolic group, however, it is not equal to fabric-based grades in impact strength. It is primarily intended for mechanical application where electrical properties are of secondary importance. Discretion should be used in applications where high-humidity and moisture are encountered.

Grade XX is a hard, paper-based, reinforced laminate with a phenolic resin binder. It is moisture-resistant and has good machinability and mechanical properties. It is appropriate for most electrical applications.
XXX Paper Grade Phenolic - Order Online
Current Spec: Mil-I-24768/10 Type PBE
(LP 509, MIL 3115, Type PBE)
Grade XXX has similar mechanical properties as Grade XX but is considerably better electrically because of its high resin content. This material is ideal for use at radio frequencies and under very humid conditions.

ProLam® C - Canvas Phenolic
ProLam® C - Canvas Phenolic is a Canvas Grade C (machining grade) for structural and mechanical applications. This laminated product is available in sheets, rods and tubes. ProLam® C utilizes a canvas base and phenolic resin binder. Grade C & CE canvas phenolic are made from a medium weave cotton cloth fabric and mixed with phenolic resins to provide good wear resistance, low moisture absorption, and good mechanical strength at economical cost. Canvas-based phenolics are used for structural supports, piston rings, gears, spacers, and bearing surfaces.
